SIRT hosted the SIRT & Cisco Tech Cup, an event organized in partnership with Cisco and the SIRT Froy López Foundation, which combined sports, technology, and networking in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The event brought together SIRT employees and clients for a soccer tournament designed to strengthen relationships, share knowledge, and enjoy a unique experience outside the usual work environment.
The event stood out for its positive atmosphere, camaraderie, and the energy of all the participating teams. It also provided an opportunity for professionals, clients, and partners to connect, reinforcing the value of trusting relationships within the technology ecosystem.
An event to bring people, sports, and technology together
The SIRT & Cisco Tech Cup was created with the goal of providing a unique gathering place for SIRT, Cisco, and their customers. Through sports, attendees shared a morning marked by collaboration, teamwork, and healthy competition.
The tournament also helped reinforce a key idea for SIRT: technology is also built on closeness, trust, and the ability to create spaces where people can connect beyond the strictly professional sphere.
Cisco Security: Intelligent, Unified, and Automated Security
The event also featured a presentation by José Miguel V., Head of Consulting and Pre-Sales at SIRT, who shared a technical overview of the Cisco Security portfolio.
During the session, the AI-powered Cisco Security Cloud approach was presented—a solution designed to deliver more unified, intelligent, and automated security. In addition, the session covered capabilities related to Hybrid Mesh Firewall, Universal ZTNA, and Power Security Operations, along with solutions such as Cisco XDR, Cisco Duo, Cisco ISE, SIEM, and SOAR. These technologies improve visibility, strengthen secure access, automate response, and protect digital environments in a more integrated way.
As a result, the event combined a sporting experience with a platform for showcasing technology, facilitating the exchange of ideas among SIRT, Cisco, and the attending customers.
